Pennant Foods, the Itasca, Ill.-based provider of specialty bakery products for the foodservice and retail channels, has entered into a definitive agreeement to buy a portion of the General Mill's Bakeries and Food Service frozen bread business. Pennant is a member of Fresh Start Bakeries, which operates more than 25 bakeries in nine countries on four continents. more
