With current economic conditions, Dorner Manufacturing Corp. notes it’s critical to have conveyors that help bakers and snack producers maximize their efficiencies.

That’s why the Hartland, Wis.-based company introduced the FIT Program, which is a multifaceted services program designed to increase production output while reducing overall costs.

Under the new program, Dorner technicians will install new conveyors, train in-house personnel and evaluate any previously installed processing and packaging systems. The program also provides replacement parts and belts that can be shipped in 24 hours or sooner to keep bakers and snack producers up and running.

“We initiated this new program based on several marketplace trends,” notes Gary Wemmert, director of parts and services for Dorner Manufacturing. “First, many of our customers have reduced the size of their maintenance staff, and our highly experienced FIT squad can help replace this loss with much needed conveyor expertise. Second, the proper installation of precision conveyors is critical to long-term performance, efficiency and safety. And, finally, manufacturing requirements are changing more frequently these days, so it’s important to be able to repurpose existing equipment. Our new FIT Program addresses all of these concerns and more.”
