The 2009 Dairy-Deli-Bake show is being touted as "The People's Choice" by IDDBA because it will reflect how consumers in today’s market can choose to shop.

Hundreds of suppliers to in-store bakeries and delis will attend the 2009 Dairy-Deli-Bake show, which is being touted as "The People's Choice" by International Dairy-Deli-Bakery Association (IDDBA). The show runs from June 7-9 in Atlanta.

The show’s theme reflects how consumers in today’s market can choose the store to shop, the products they buy, the meals they cook (or don’t cook) and the money they spend. By recognizing that it is all about choice, exhibitors at the show can help bakers develop alternative menus and marketing strategies, which will be demonstrated on the expo floor.

The star-studded lineup of speakers includes Gen. Colin Powell, former coach Bobby Knight and others, including celebrity chef Alton Brown, who was brought back by popular demand in an IDDBA survey.

The show also will feature IDDBA’s Show & Sell Center, a 10,000-sq.-ft. idea showcase created by retailers and other food professionals that focuses on meals, deli, cheese and bakery products
