Minneapolis-based General Mills is nearing completion of a $100 million plant in New Mexico that will produce granola, fruit and other snack bars, according to the Albuquerque Journal. The 176,000-sq.-ft.expansion will be near one of the company’s larger cereal facilities, the newspaper reported.
Construction on the facility is close to completion, upon which General Mills will install two automated production lines.
