Gold Coast Ingredients added Sarah Hager to its sales team, responsible for the Midwest territory and calling on various facets of the food industry. Hager brings 14 years of technical flavor sales experience along with additional expertise in vitamin, mineral, protein and third-party manufacturing selling. She has her bachelor’s in food science from Rutgers University and is an active member of the Institute of Food Technologists.
Meanwhile, Karyna Flood has been certified as a senior flavor chemist by the Society of Flavor Chemist. Flood joined Gold Coast Ingredients in 2000 after completing her bachelor’s in dietetic science and food administration with emphasis in food science from California State University, Long Beach, Calif. She is responsible for hands-on research, full technical support, process optimization and cost-reduction constraints.
