tna adds new manufacturing plant in China

Recognizing the growth potential of the Chinese market, packaging solutions specialist tna unveils a new manufacturing plant in Qingdao, China. One of a series of new developments globally, the plant provides local turnkey solutions.

Packaging solutions specialist tna, Sydney Olympic Park, Australia, recently unveiled its newest manufacturing plant in Qingdao, China. The plant, one of a series of new developments around the world, demonstrates tna’s commitment to both the China and Asian markets by providing local turnkey manufacturing solutions to its customers.

The new plant, which spans 7,650 sq. meters, incorporates two separate facilities as well as office space, and follows a period of recent expansion across three continents. tna now produces end-of-line packaging solutions including the tna robag 3 vertical form/fill/seal  bagger and tna roflo VM distribution system in Australia, the United Kingdom and now in Qingdao, China.

After a period of exhaustive research, the Qingdao District Chengyang, Jihongtan Subdistrict was chosen because of its strong industrial base and its proximity to both Beijing and Shanghai.  “Investing in a market in which we are already active and which is predicted to enjoy double digit year-on-year growth for the foreseeable future wasn’t a difficult decision for tna,” comments Michael Green, managing director of tna.
