Product Snapshot: There’s a healthier bagel for everyone with new Lender’s New York Style Bagels. The authentic, crunchy on the outside, chewy on the inside bagel comes in four delicious flavors — 100% Whole Wheat, Whole Grain-Multi Grain, Whole Grain Plain and Whole Grain Cinnamon Raisin.
Ingredients: (Plain): Enriched wheat flour [flour, enzyme, niacin, reduced iron, thiamine mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid, ascorbic acid (dough conditioner)], water, high-fructose corn syrup. Contains 2% or less of: yeast, salt, vital wheat gluten, mono and diglycerides, calcium sulfate, guar gum, enzyme, l-cysteine monohydrochloride (dough conditioner), yellow corn meal.
2Mrs Baird’s Whole Grain White Bread

Product Snapshot: Moms will rejoice at Mrs Baird’s Whole Grain White Bread, the perfect solution for providing finicky kids with the goodness of whole grains that they need in a product that looks and tastes like white bread. A good source of whole grains, the bread packs 8.5 gm. per serving, along with fiber, folic acid, calcium and Vitamin D. What’s more, there are no trans fats, artificial colors or flavors!

4Arnold Double Fiber Bread

Product Snapshot: Weston announced a new addition to its Whole Grain Classics line — 100% whole wheat Double Fiber bread. Baked with whole grains, the heart healthy bread is an excellent source of fiber, with five gm. in every slice. That’s 10 gm. of fiber in a single sandwich for 40% of your daily recommended amount.

5Keebler Grahams Bug Bites
Company: Kellogg Co., Battle Creek, Mich.

Product Snapshot: Keebler Grahams Bug Bites are new cinnamon graham crackers in fun bug shapes. They are made with whole grain and are a great source of calcium. Bug Bites come in four shapes — butterfly, dragonfly, caterpillar and ladybug.
Ingredients: Enriched flour (wheat flour, niacin, reduced iron, thiamine mononitrate [Vitamin B1], riboflavin [Vitamin B2], folic acid), sugar, whole wheat (graham) flour, vegetable oil (contains one or more of the following: cottonseed oil, partially hydrogenated soybean and cottonseed oil, hydrogenated cottonseed oil, TBHQ and citric acid for freshness), honey, high-fructose corn syrup, calcium carbonate, salt, baking soda, cinnamon, maltodextrin, soy lecithin.
6Lay’s and Tostitos Sensations

Product Snapshot: Lay’s Sensations kettle cooked potato chips and Tostitos Sensations tortillas chips provide a gourmet taste experience that’s sure to awaken and engage the senses. Lay’s Sensations kettle cooked potato chips are made from premium potatoes cooked in small batches and seasoned with an aromatic blend of authentic spices and seasonings such as Lime & Cracked Black Pepper and Sweet Chili & Sour Cream. Head Game
Feed your mind and your stomach with Knowledge in a Nutshell cookies from Jenny Lee Bakery. Though walnut-shaped, the cookies are completely nut-free and chock-full of popular trivia questions sure to fill your noggin with plenty of food for thought.
The Edible Game-A Smart Cookie is the brain child of KIN-JEN, who is partnered with 75-year old Jenny Lee. Both companies also have teamed up with Knowledge in a Nutshell, the creators of nine books of fun facts on history, music, sports, movies, success and any other manner of Americana you can think of. And it’s those interesting and fascinating facts that go into each cookie. As the company notes “there are cookies and there are games — this gives you both.”
“It’s America’s answer to the fortune cookie,” says Audrey Reichblum, president of arPR inc. “But they taste a lot better, and are more challenging and fun.”
Designed by international architect Sylvester Damianos, FAIA, the cookies are made from a proprietary formula reminiscent of a shortbread and sugar cookie hybrid. Each cookie is hollow inside and chocolate-iced on three sides, allowing for the questions and answers to be rolled up and tucked inside, so that only the “Q” and the “A” ends stick out.
“It’s not a mainstream cookie, and is sold via word of mouth, off the web or for special events,” Reichblum explains. “We’re the cookie that entertains … it’s a quiz, it’s a contest, it’s a puzzle.”
