With the warmer weather and summer approaching, cutting back on favorite snacks and making healthier choices for weight management may be on the to-do list. This spring, there's a new choice in bars that will help out on the list, while not sacrificing taste to look and feel good: Kellogg's Special K granola bars come in two Dark Chocolate and Chocolaty Peanut Butter flavors. They offer those managing their weight the chance to indulge with not only lower calories and fat but also positive nutrition benefits, says Mary Bush, brand director for wholesome snacks at Kellogg Co., Battle Creek, Mich. With 3 g. of fat and 110 calories, the Special K granola bar contains 4 g, of fiber and 4 g. of protein.

"Getting ready for spring and summer shouldn't be a chore," Bush says. "With these new granola bars, we're making it easier for our consumers to choose a delicious, on-the-go option that will support their weight management goals."

The new bars can be found now in the wholesome snack aisles of grocery stores nationwide. For more information about new Special K Granola Bars, visit
