Specialty lubricant manufacturer Klüber Lubrication, Londonderry, N.H., appoints Toby Porter food market manager and Ben Bryant marine market manager.

Porter brings more than 10 years of experience at Klüber to the position, having served in a variety of roles within the company, including warehouse, shipping/receiving, repack and production. He also served as a materials and supply chain planner and most recently as a pricing manager, where he incorporated processes and structure that made Klüber’s overall pricing program more efficient, effective and responsive.

Bryant is a graduate of the Massachusetts Maritime Academy and holds a 1,600-ton master’s license with experience on oil tankers, offshore supply vessels, tug and barge units, and various small power and sail vessels. Prior to joining Klüber, Bryant worked as an environmental consultant in the oil spill response industry. His primary focus at Klüber is to launch a new portfolio of environmentally acceptable lubricants for the marine industry.

In their new positions, Porter and Bryant will qualify key opportunities in their respective markets and help develop new business, support the current customer base and penetrate new accounts. They will report to Bill Watson, regional director.

“In addition to their impressive experience, both Toby and Ben bring a high level of creativity, energy and problem solving skills to their positions,” Watson says. “We look forward to working with them and supporting their approach as they lead efforts and promote our offering in the food/beverage and marine business sectors.”
