Popcorn, Indiana joins forces with Universal Pictures

Popcorn, Indiana, Englewood, N.J., has partnered with Universal Pictures to promote the Movies On Demand, Blu-ray Disc, DVD and digital download release of Battleship. Promotional elements include a joint TV spot running on national cable networks and with participating cable, satellite and telecommunications providers. A microsite, www.munchbetter.net, offers a one year’s supply of Popcorn, Indiana snacks to the winner of the Munch Better sweepstakes. Popcorn, Indiana will feature the promotion nationwide on-pack, at www.popcornindiana.com, as well as across social media channels.

“We are very excited about this opportunity to make movie night Munch Better with a blockbuster film like Battleship and the perfect at-home movie snack in Popcorn, Indiana,” states Hitesh R. Hajarnavis, president and CEO of Popcorn, Indiana. The partnership will run from the on-demand release date of Aug. 28 through Oct. 15.
