ROHA Food Colors, USA, achieves SQF certification

ROHA Food Colors, USA, a unit of ROHA Group, has achieved Safe Quality Food (SQF) Certification with a Good rating for its newly expanded St. Louis facility, which produces natural food colors. SQF 2000 Certification Level III in the food manufacturing segment is administered by the Food Marketing Institute (FMI) to provide verifiable assurance that products have been produced in accordance with rigorous quality and food safety standards.

“We are proud of our people and our continuing quality improvement systems and procedures in achieving this rating,” explains CEO Rohit Tibrewala. “This certification is further assurance to our customers that they can rely on ROHA for the consistent high-quality natural and synthetic food color products they need and expect from us.” ROHA’s plant in India, which produces synthetic food and beverage colors, previously achieved SQF Certification.

In achieving the SQF Certification, ROHA’s Quality Manager Sean Danel also qualified as an SQF Practitioner, overseeing the quality standards of the facility.
