Product Snapshot: After the success of their last collaboration, Metropolitan Bakery and Victory Brewing Co., both in Philadelphia, developed a new limited-edition, handmade popcorn called Metropolitan Bakery Victory Baltic Thunder Porter Popcorn. The small-batch popcorn is flavored with Victory’s Baltic Thunder, a Baltic porter-style lager that brings together the complex, toffee undertones of a traditional 18th century British porter and the subtly sweet nuance of contemporary lagers. Mixed with salty caramel and freshly popped popcorn, the result is an intense, not-too-sweet treat. The popcorn is available to wholesale clients throughout the year, depending on quantity, and to consumers through January at Metropolitan Bakery shops and at the Victory Brewpub in Downington.
