Interative solutions and tools available at the Food Safety Summit

BNP Media’s Food Safety Summit, April 30-May 2, at the Baltimore Convention Center in Baltimore, includes an interactive feature in its lineup. The half-day workshop, “Tools for the Food-Safety Professional–Business Acumen, Executive Speak, Communication and Leadership Style,” will present four revolving breakout stations and will focus on the tools needed by the food-safety professional and scientific expert to improve their business acumen to better assist them in the board room or other business meetings where food safety needs to be communicated.

A traceability conference session will be arranged as a hands-on class where attendees will be given a food-safety product and work backward to trace the origin. A town hall discussion with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture (USDA) and the Association of Food and Drug Officials (AFDO) will address pressing issues of today and tomorrow regarding regulatory agencies and the private sector.
