Caravan Ingredients names fortification director

Thomas Douglass, Caravan Ingredients

Thomas Douglass joins Caravan Ingredients, Lenexa, Kan., as fortification director. He is responsible for developing and executing category growth strategies within the fortification platform. In addition, he will work to identify business development opportunities to grow Caravan Ingredients’ fortification business.

Douglass joins Caravan Ingredients from Glanbia Nutritionals, Evanston, Ill., where he worked as a sales manager. Prior to this role, he held executive leadership positions with Flavor & Fragrance Specialties, Mahwah, N.J., and Allied Blending and Ingredients, Keokuk, Iowa. He brings to Caravan Ingredients 28 years of experience in the food industry.

“We look forward to Tom’s contributions to growing our position in the fortification market with his strong blend of strategy and business development skills,” says Mary Bentley, vice president of marketing and business development for Caravan Ingredients.
