Love and Quiches Desserts, a gourmet dessert and quiche manufacturer based in Freeport, N.Y., has hired John Josko as its new national retail sales manager.

Most recently, Josko was national vice president of sales and marketing for Virginia-based Daystar Desserts, LLC, where he oversaw the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico territories, supervising sales representatives for in-store bakeries, delis, food service accounts and convenience stores. He also handled marketing programs and was a member of an ideations panel for new product development and the firm’s research and development team.

Josko also has held senior management positions with several other baking companies, including The Father’s Table, Vieiras Bakery and Toufayan Bakeries. At the start of his career, Josko managed large-scale baking operations for Shoprite and A&P, among others.
