ATBI names 2013-2015 officers

The Allied Trades of the Baking Industry elected its 2013-2015 officers on March 5 during the American Society of Baking’s BakingTech 2013 in Chicago.

The new officers are Rick McGrath, Lockton Companies, Chicago, president; Tom McCurry, Cain Food Industries Inc., Overland Park, Kan., first vice president and secretary-treasurer; and John Hellman, McGahee Lacy & Associates, Atlanta, second vice president.

Elected to ATBI’s board of directors for a term ending in 2016 are Terry Bartsch, Shaffer, Urbana, Ohio; Don Brown, ConAgra Mills, Omaha, Neb.; Bruce Criss, ADM Milling, Overland Park, Kan.; Gerry Degnan, Manildra Group USA, Shawnee Mission, Kan.; Pete Frederick, Milner Milling Corp., Chattanooga, Tenn.; D.J. LeCrone, LeMatic Inc., Jackson, Mich.; Tim Marron, B.C. Williams Food Products Inc., Dallas; Randy Marten, Miller Milling Co., Minneapolis; Clay Miller, Burford Corp., Maysville, Okla.; Bill Zimmerman, The Long Co., Chicago.

The next ATBI board meeting will be held on April 22 during the 2103 American Bakers Association Convention in Aventura, Fla.
