The Foodservice Packaging Institute (FPI), Falls Church, Va., revamps its website, www.fpi.org, with a new, user-friendly format that contains valuable resources and industry news. The website averages 100,000 visits each year.

“Our goal is to deliver the most relevant and best information on foodservice packaging,” says FPI president Lynn M. Dyer. “As the gateway to FPI’s valuable resources and knowledge, this new site will improve communications with our members and serve as an informational resource to the thousands of people looking for foodservice packaging information.”

“Our industry has a great story to tell about the benefits of foodservice packaging and its contribution to society. We’re proud that our new site helps to tell that story,” said Dyer.

FPI is celebrating its 80th anniversary as it revises its communications strategy for 2013 to strengthen its brand, increase outreach to media and develop and implement a social media plan.
