Whether you’re a fan of the original James Bond, Sean Connery, or the new, edgy Bond, Daniel Craig, or just love all the great cars, high-tech gadgets and action-packed plot lines, it’s hard to believe that James Bond movies been around for 50 years.

At its annual convention April 20-24 at the Turnberry Isle Resort in Aventura, Fla., the American Bakers Association (ABA), Washington, will celebrate the 50th anniversary of James Bond movies and take its farewell party to North Miami’s Dezer Collection Auto Museum and Event Space, home of the only James Bond Museum in the world. With more than $15 million in James Bond memorabilia, including the famous Aston Martin automobiles and a Soviet T-55 tank, the venue promises to be a fabulous backdrop for the party.

According to ABA president and CEO Robb MacKie, there may even be a special guest or two joining the group. “Please come dressed in your favorite Bond attire, as your favorite villain or femme fatale,” he says. “I can’t think of a better way to wrap up the 2013 ABA Convention than with a fun evening with our industry friends and colleagues.”
