Chicago Section IFT calls for papers

The Chicago Section of the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) is calling for papers for its 6th annual Innovation NOW! Forum, to be held during the group’s Suppliers’ Night on Nov. 13 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Ill.

The topic of this year's forum is "The Food Industry: The Sweet & Spice of Life." The forum will consist of three sections running concurrently from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Each session lasts 45 minutes, during which companies can introduce new products, illustrate new applications, present demonstrations, show a video or CD of new facilities or production capabilities and discuss market conditions and information.

All proposals must be submitted by May 31. The Suppliers’ Night Forum Committee will review all proposals, select the finalists and notify them by the week of June 22.

For more information, call the Chicago Section IFT at 630-916-4960 or email suppliersnight@chicagoift.org.
