The World Packaging Organisation (WPO) is accepting entries for its 2013-14 WorldStar Student Awards, an international packaging design competition that invites students from countries around the world to develop projects in the field of packaging design.

Hosted by the Institute of Packaging Professionals (IoPP), the competition offers the winners an opportunity to gain professional acknowledgement and entrance into a career as a packaging professional.

Interested students have until Sept. 30 to submit their entries, along with a $15 entry fee. Virtual judging will take place online Oct. 14-28, with judges evaluating entries based on innovation, aesthetic appeal, environmental compliance, ease of manufacturing, convenience and relevance on a global level.
