B.E.S.T. in Baking recipients recognized at IBIE

January 31, 2014

Mike Beaty, International Baking Industry Exposition (IBIE) chairman and Flowers Foods executive vice president of supply chain, and Snack Food & Wholesale Bakery publisher Jeff Heath presented plaques to 17 B.E.S.T. in Baking recipients during IBIE, held Oct. 6-9 in Las Vegas. Five companies also received Honorable Mentions. To watch the YouTube video, click here.

Introduced in 2010, the B.E.S.T in Baking (Becoming Environmentally Sustainable Together) program recognizes exhibitors that supply equipment, packaging, ingredients, products and/or services that foster energy and water conservation, decrease landfill waste and promote overall healthy living. For 2013, B.E.S.T in Baking, sponsored by Bundy Baking Solutions and Snack Food & Wholesale Bakery, received nearly double the number of entries as 2010, indicating significant growth in sustainable products across the industry.
