The American Bakers Association announced the names of the speakers at the 2014 American Bakers Association (ABA) Convention, which will be held March 16-19 at the Phoenician in Scottsdale, Ariz.

Chris Wallace, anchor of Fox News Sunday and contributor to Fox News Channel’s America’s Election HQ coverage, will deliver the keynote speech at the Allied Trades of the Baking Industry (ATBI) Leadership Breakfast on Monday, March 17, from 7:30-9:15 a.m.

From 9:30-noon during the March 17 morning business sessions, Todd Hale, senior vice president of consumer and shopper insights,The Nielsen Co., will present “Funny Things Happened on Our Way to Our Economic Recovery.” Tom Furphy, CEO and managing director of Consumer Equity Partners, and Kevin Coupe, an author and the "Content Guy" for MorningNewsBeat.com, will lead "The Innovation Conversation." The interactive journey will engage ABA convention attendees in a dialogue about where traditional retailing is headed, what can be learned from e-comerce successes and failures, how to compete in the new environment and how to understand the new consumer.

During the March 17 afternoon business session, Curt Steinhorst, The Center for Generational Kinetics, will present "Gen Y as the Consumer." Convention attendees will gain new insight into this diverse group of consumers as Steinhorst sheds light on the customization required to connect with Gen Y.

Steve Forbes, chairman and editor-in-chief of Forbes Media, will keynote the American Bakers PAC Dinner and Roundtable, a ticketed event that will be held March 17 at 7:30 p.m.
