The Better Chip Chipotles chips

Company: The Better Chip, Los Angeles

Website: www.thebetterchip.com

Introduced: February

Distribution: National

Suggested Retail: $3.99 for 6.4-oz. bag

Product Snapshot: The Better Chip introduces two new flavors inspired by top culinary trends: Beet and Chipotles. To make The Better Chip Beet chips, the company chops and cooks fresh beets into every chip for an authentic, colorful snack that pairs perfectly with herbed goat cheese, hummus and Greek yogurt dip. Red, ripened jalapeno peppers are smoked over woodchips and then crushed into whole-grain corn masa to create the distinct flavor of The Better Chip Chipotles chip. Each bite delivers rich, smoky notes and a warm, lingering heat. These chips can be eaten straight from the bag or paired with favorites like layered bean dip, black bean salsa or cheese and salami.
