Product Snapshot: Cracker Jack’D, a brand from PepsiCo’s Frito-Lay division, recently added Energy Trail Mixes to its offerings for on-the-go adult consumers. The mixes are available in two flavors: Chocolate Flavored Cherry, a blend of chocolate granola clusters, granola clusters and cherry-flavor dried cranberries; and Mixed Berry, a combination of granola clusters, almonds, peanuts and original and blueberry-flavored dried cranberries. A unique packaging structure holds the fruit pieces in a separate pouch within the bag, keeping them fresh and ensuring that the granola and nuts stay crunchy until consumers mix them with the fruit.
