The Warwick Allerton Hotel in Chicago will again be the site of the Sanitary Design Workshop on March 29 and 30. Engineers, sanitarians and plant managers from equipment manufacturers, bakers, pasta makers, snack food producers and low-moisture food producers are invited to attend and learn about equipment and plant design for allergen and pathogen control in low-moisture foods.

Representatives from companies such as The Bama Companies, Campbell’s, ConAgra Foods, General Mills, Kellogg Co., KraftHeinz, Land O’Lakes, Nestle, PepsiCo, Rich Products and Commercial Food Sanitation—members of the Grocery Manufacturers Association Sanitation Share Group—will lead attendees through the GMA Principles of Design. Attendees will also be able to participate in two breakout sessions.

The workshop is sponsored by the American Bakers Association, AIB International, American Society of Baking, Biscuit & Cracker Manufacturers Association, BEMA (Bakery Equipment Manufacturers and Allieds), Food Processing Suppliers Association, National Confectioners Association, National Pasta Association and Snack Food Association. Snack Food & Wholesale Bakery is the exclusive media sponsor.
