Brown & Haley has a new U.S. sales director and it’s someone who combines confectionery and specialty channel experience with sales and managerial expertise. In addition to leading sales efforts for Brown & Haley’s branded items in the United States, Ken Rosenberg will also play an integral role as a member of senior management, responsible for charting future company direction.

Ken Rosenberg

“We selected Ken Rosenberg for his deep experience in confection, especially in the club channel and trade marketing,” says John Melin, Brown & Haley’s president. “His foundation with Mars confection is topped off beautifully with his more recent experience in high-growth companies focused on the natural foods and drug store channels.”

Over his 25-year career with Mars, Inc., Rosenberg progressed through successive field and corporate positions, finishing as the Team Leader responsible for Costco. As sales director for Northwest Natural Products, he managed a sales team, broker network and sales operations team through annual growth in excess of 35% per year. Most recently he has served as sales director for Yes To Incorporated, a natural skin care company. “It is rare to find an individual like Ken,” adds Pierson Clair, Brown & Haley’s ceo and vice chairman. “He is very focused on the consumer, very analytical, but also a great relationship builder.”

Rosenberg has a strong record of team leadership and business growth throughout his career. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Georgetown University, and an MBA in marketing from the University of Maryland. Prior to joining Brown & Haley, Rosenberg spent 25 years with Mars Inc., and held sales director positions at Yes To Incorporated and Northwest Natural Products.

“I am very excited to be leading sales for this iconic brand,” explained Rosenberg. “There are great opportunities to build on the ROCA legacy.”

Brown & Haley is a Tacoma, Wash.-based food company founded in 1912. The company has been making ALMOND ROCA Buttercrunch since 1923. For more information, please visit
