Cavanna Packaging USA names Graham Nice sales and marketing manager

Nice brings nearly 30 years of experience with him.

Cavanna Packaging USA Inc., a subsidiary of Prato Sesia, Italy-based Cavanna Packaging Group, has appointed Graham Nice as its sales and marketing manager.

Nice will be responsible for the company’s packaging systems to producers of cookies, crackers, confectionery, snacks, bread, pharmaceutical and pet food. He will work with sales partners in the United States and Canada.

With nearly 30 years of experience in the food industry, Nice previously worked at Bosch Packaging Technology, Sollich, Carle & Montanari and Baker Perkins and served in various sales, marketing and management roles.

Cavanna designs, produces, and distributes worldwide automatic flow wrapping machines, product handling systems and turnkey systems for single- and multi-pack over wrapping of food, pharmaceutical and non-food products. The company has been in the American market for more than 30 years and boasts more than 500 installations.

With more than 30 years experience in B-to-B reporting, writing and editing — the bulk of which was dedicated to covering the bakery, confectionery and snack industries — Pacyniak has chronicled changes within the food industry since the early 1980s. A Boston University journalism degree graduate, he worked for a variety of publications before joining BNP Media in 1994 as editor of Snack Food & Wholesale Bakery magazine. In 2001, he took over as editor-in-chief of Candy Industry until 2018.
