Australian biscuit manufacturer Arnott’s is bringing Tim Tam, its classic chocolate-coated treat, to the United States.

Available in several flavors, Arnott’s will introduce Tim Tam in Original, Chewy Caramel, Classic Dark and Dark Mint, a flavor exclusive to the United States. With a suggested retail price of $3.49, they’ll be sold at supermarkets, grocery stores and mass retailers nationwide. Buyers can visit itsnotacookie.com to see where Tim Tam is available in their area.

Tim Tam has three layers — a smooth creme filling sandwiched between two crunchy biscuits, all covered in rich chocolate or white chocolate. The treats seem to be popular among Aussies, who purchased 45 million packets last year. More than 670 million individual biscuits are made each year.

While they can be eaten on their own, Aussies have also developed the Tim Tam Slam, which entails biting off opposite corners of the biscuit and using it as a straw to slurp up hot beverages such as coffee or hot chocolate.

Arnott’s also produces a variety of sweet and savory crackers and biscuits, including Vita-Weat, made with whole grains.
