Consumer acceptance of THC, CBD is growing, Toluna research reveals
More than 80 percent think cannabis should be legalized.
Eight in 10 Americans (81 percent) think cannabis should be legalized, according to a new survey conducted by the market research and technology firm Toluna.
Toluna surveyed 1,000 people in the U.S. on their perceptions around tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) — the cannabis compound that provides a “high” — and cannabidiol (CBD), which is non-psychoactive but is believed to offer relaxation and relief from stress, pain and anxiety.
