Specialty candy retailer IT’SUGAR has named Mark Davis as chief financial officer and chief operations officer. 
In these roles, Davis will be responsible for building and leading the systemization and integration of operations and for the continued scaling and growth of the business. Davis will partner with CEO and Founder Jeff Rubin on strategy for growing the IT’SUGAR brand.

Prior to joining IT’SUGAR, Davis spent nearly 20 years at Party City. During that time, he held the positions of controller, v.p. of internal audit, v.p. of planning and allocation, v.p. of finance, cfo, chief inventory officer and coo. Davis also spent several years as senior v.p. of corporate development and president of Party City’s wholesale division, where he established systems, process and controls to support the growth of Party City from 200 stores to more than 900 stores. 
Prior to Party City, served Toys R Us, where he managed the worldwide implementation of Oracle Financials and set and audited policy and procedures. He began his career with Ernst & Young, where he was a certified public accountant and certified information systems auditor. Davis earned a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Lehigh University.
