Flowers Foods names CFO
D. Anthony Scaglione brings experience from several multi-billion-dollar organizations.

Flowers Foods Inc. has appointed D. Anthony Scaglione as CFO, effective January 1, 2026. In this role, Scaglione will guide the company’s financial strategy and oversee treasury, investor relations, accounting, tax, internal audit, risk, procurement, and information security. He will report to chairman and CEO Ryals McMullian.
“Anthony brings strategic insight and operational rigor that will drive our next phase of growth,” says McMullian. “Over the course of his career, he proves his ability to deliver tangible value to shareholders, and I am confident his leadership will benefit Flowers’ business as we continue to navigate an increasingly complex and competitive landscape.”
Scaglione has served as CFO for several public and private multi-billion-dollar organizations, including Total Wine & More, ODP Corporation, and ABM Industries. His experience spans core finance functions as well as strategy, real estate, procurement, M&A, and IT.
He will succeed Steve Kinsey, who will retire at year-end and serve in an advisory role to support the transition.
Scaglione holds Bachelor of Science degrees in finance and accounting from Rutgers University and an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He is a certified public accountant (CPA-NY).
