Bachman Bolsters Sales, Purchasing Depts.
As Bachman Co. positions itself for further growth, the snack manufacturer
is building its staff by naming Christopher Rahey as vice president of
sales and promoting Lisa George to senior director of purchasing.
Rahey will be responsible for growing sales within Bachman's current geography and expanding the Bachman brand as appropriate both within the Wyomissing, Pa.-based company’s current sales area and beyond.
Prior to Bachman, Rahey worked for Tasty Baking Co. in Philadelphia, as vice president of direct sales. He oversaw the company's sales to national customers and he launch of new products into several new markets. He also oversaw the restructuring of the sales organization and the key account sales team to leverage the Tastykake brand.
George, on the other hand, is responsible for purchasing all of the raw material, packaging and energy requirement for the company. Additionally, she is involved in new product development, package design and special projects.
