Fritsch finds oldest ROLLFIX still in operation.

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of its ROLLFIX sheeter that is still in operation, Fritsch held a contest that attracted more than 100 bakers across the world. In the end, it found a 49-year-old system by German pizza baker Uwe Hug, who will receive a new ROLLFIX 600 from the company.

Over the years, Fritsch has sold more than 30,000 ROLLFIX dough sheeting machines. During the contest, contestants submitted photographs of the type plates on their aged systems. Hug, a former management consultant and now the leader a catering service, won the contest with his 1960 model, which was one of the first machines of its type to leave the company’s production line.
