Diamond Foods aims to double the size of its Kettle Foods Beloit, Wis., manufacturing plant.


Diamond Foods, San Francisco, is in discussions with Wisconsin leaders and the Wisconsin Department of Commerce about doubling the size of its Kettle Foods manufacturing plant in Beloit, Wis.

If all goes according to plan, Diamond Foods, the producer ofKettle Brandbaked potato and tortilla chips, would add 70 to 100 jobs to the 115 workers it has in place at the facility.

Diamond Foods acquired Kettle Foods in March for $615 million from a London-based private-equity firm. Kettle Foods opened the 50,000-sq.-ft. Beloit plant in 2007.
