Frito-Lay Canada is rolling out black-and-white bags for a new Doritos chips campaign, and asking Canadian consumers to vote for one of the two new varieties: Onion Rings N’ Ketchup and Buffalo Wings N’ Ranch.

For the third year in a row, Toronto package branding and design firm Shikatani LaCroix has created an innovative, clever new packaging design for Frito Lay Canada’sDoritosthat has the product flying off store shelves. The distinctive black-and-white bags are promoting what is reportedly the latest Doritos campaign, The End.

Bold, clean and eye-catching, the black-and-white bags clearly stand out on shelves, marked as Flavor “A” and Flavor “B.” Canadian consumers were asked to choose which flavor should live and which should be removed from store shelves. They could also write an ending to an unfinished Doritoscommercial for a chance to win $25,000, 1% of future sales from the winning flavor, the unfinished commercial completed with the winning ending and the chance to become part of theDoritos2011 brand team.
