The National Honey Board launched, which is the latest in a series of interactive measures to provide baking and snack food manufacturers with industry-specific technical, marketing and formulation assistance.

The new site features an RSS news feed, sections such as Honey Technical Information, Marketing Honey in Snacks and Snacks with Honey and offers a variety of information about how to incorporate honey into salty and savory snacks.

“With the launch of this Web site, the National Honey Board is providing snack food manufacturers with an excellent resource for new ideas and technical informa¬tion,” says Bruce Wolk, director of marketing for the Firestone, Colo.-based company. “Honey has a variety of uses in both salty and savory snacks, including providing flavor and functional attributes. This site will help food manu¬factures better incorporate honey into a variety of products.”
