Butter Buds Food Ingredients, Racine, Wis., completed the purchase of a 76,000-sq.-ft. facility adjacent to its current one. The space will be used for expanded production capacity, additional warehouse and office space.
“This purchase comes at a time of robust growth in Butter Buds’ business,” says general manager Bill Buhler. “And it paves the way for additional growth in the future.”
The division of Cumberland Packing Corp. manufactures an array of natural dairy concentrates under theButter Budsbrand. Along with concentrated forms of butter, cream and cheese, Butter Buds offers innovative concentrates such asButter Buds-Bacon, Olive Oil Buds, CocoaButter BudsandDried Beer Extract. Most of these products are kosher and Halal-certified. Butter Buds recently added parve certification to its capabilities.
