Dunkin' Brands plans to open as many as 650 more stores
Dunkin' Brands Group Inc. reportedly plans to open 550-650 new stores globally this year, according to CEO Nigel Travis and plans to unveil 350-450 Dunkin' Donuts store outlets outside the U.S. this year.
A large number of the stores will open in the Asia-Pacific region, Travis adds. Dunkin' Brands is the parent company of Dunkin' Donuts and Baskin-Robbins restaurants. A joint venture between U.S.-based Dunkin' Brands and India's Jubilant FoodWorks Ltd. opened its first two stores in New Delhi earlier this month.
