Kansas State University offers milling short course
Mill owners, directors and managers without a practical milling background can gain firsthand experience of the milling process through the Buhler Executive Milling short course, offered by Kansas State University’s International Grains Program. The course will be taught in two languages at the KSU’s International Grains Program and Hal Ross Flour Mill in Manhattan. An English course will be held Nov. 5-9, while a Spanish course will be held Dec. 10-14.
The English course will be co-taught by Miller and Tobias Nanny, manager of the Buhler Training Center in Uzwil, Switzerland. The Spanish course will be taught by Ralph Linneman, a milling expert at the Buhler Training Center. The course will include both classroom lectures and practical, hands-on exercises in the Hal Ross Flour Mill.
