Form/fill/seal (f/f/s) systems have always been an essential component of many food manufacturers’ operations. Snack producers rely on them to bag chips, crackers, bars and more, while bakers use them to package cookies, heat-and-eat bread, dessert treats, rolls and many other baked goods.
As consumer demand for single-serve products increases (think portion control and portability), these machines will likely find their way into more food-processing plants and be used to package an even greater variety and volume of products.
