Packline USA strengthens staff with addition of new CEO
Founder of fast-growing firm to focus on global sales and product development
Packline USA, a leading global manufacturer of linear and rotary filling and sealing packaging machines and a supplier of packaging for the food and beverage industries, has named Shay Zohar as president and chief executive officer. Zohar succeeds former president and CEO Amir Tamshe, who established the company in 2002. Tamshe now leads Packline’s global sales and product development efforts.
Zohar previously was chief operational officer for New York-based Barrie House Coffee & Tea, a leading technology-driven coffee roaster and packer. Zohar joined Barrie House in 2002 and helped to grow the 73-year-old company from a small family run roastery into the market leader of the single-serve coffee category.
“I’m confident that Shay is going to take Packline to the next level,” Tamshe said. “His role in making Barrie House Coffee one of the most innovative coffee companies in the nation and passion for servicing customers on a global scale make him an extraordinary fit for Packline. He’s the right person to lead our next stage of growth.”
Zohar believes Packline is positioned to create a new world standard in the packaging industry.
“As we continue to increase our customers’ capabilities and leverage our expertise to innovate to even greater heights, our mission remains unchanged: to help our customers run their business smoother, faster and more efficient,” Zohar said.
