Flair adds applied engineering technician, expands onsite service capabilities
Supporting its commitment to providing superior onsite technical support, Flair Flexible Packaging is welcoming James Hartman to their Applied Engineering Team. In his new role, Hartman will be applying his extensive background in packaging equipment and processes to help manufacturers test new packaging films, start new packaging systems, troubleshoot packaging challenges, and optimize packaging lines.
Since earning a degree in computer programming from Brown College, Hartman has spent 15 years working in technical/mechanical roles supporting equipment installation, repair, and maintenance, most recently as a field service technician with CP Packaging in Appleton, Wisconsin. Building, installing, and debugging form fill seal (FFS) machines, running factory acceptance tests and site acceptance tests, and providing technical support have all given Hartman a comprehensive knowledge of packaging equipment and flexible packaging materials.
