Flavorchem Corp., Downers Grove, IL, has announced a $4 million investment in new equipment to support local jobs. The company made the announcement during a business leader roundtable that took place at its facility on Monday, July 2. Representatives from the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM), Washington, D.C., and Rep. Peter Roskam (R-IL) were also in attendance.
Flavorchem has added a new state-of-art spray dryer and an air pollution control device. Company leaders credited federal tax reform as responsible for helping make the equipment purchase easier.
