For the fifth year, Kellogg's "Rooted in the Midwest" campaign supports, encourages, and recognizes farmers in the region through donations and employee volunteering.
America remains a nation of avid snackers. Who can blame us? Snacks are delicious, and snacking is just plain fun. Best of all, snacks—at least when wisely chosen—need be no less, and may be even more, healthful than going hungry.
Snacktivist Foods, a woman-led bakery mix producer, hopes to lead the way in transforming the food system by using regenerative agriculture, crop biodiversity, and incorporation of climate-friendly ingredients such as sorghum, millets, and teff in its plant-based products.
