Vanilla flavor and extract supplier Nielsen-Massey is hopeful the 2020 vanilla crop will be more bountiful than last year’s yield.

Nielsen-Massey Vanillas will introduce 2-oz. bottles of its Madagascar Bourbon Pure Vanilla Bean Paste and Pure Vanilla Bean Paste at the 2020 Winter Fancy Food Show, set for Jan. 18-21 in San Francisco.

Archer Daniels Midland Co. will acquire Rodelle Inc., an originator, processor and supplier of vanilla products.

Vanilla prices are expected to remain high the first half of 2017 amid projections of adequate-to-poor bean quality, Nielsen-Massey Vanillas says in a new state-of-the-market report.
