New ProFood Tech trade show debuting in 2017

ProFood Tech to focus on processing technologies in the food and beverage industry.

A broader view. That the idea behind ProFood Tech, a new trade show focused on processing technologies serving the food and beverage industry, which will debut April 4-6, 2017 at Chicago's McCormick Place.

The show will provide a wide perspective on the food and beverage processing industry and feature cutting-edge solutions to every-day challenges on the plant floor. It will also provide suppliers with opportunities to break into new markets, cement their status as industry leaders, and reach a large group of customers at once.

With an expansive show floor and educational programming provided by IDFA, the show is likely to attract high-level buyers from every food and beverage sector.

The show is offered by PMMI, the Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies; Koelnmesse; and the International Dairy Foods Association.

Charles D. Yuska, president and ceo, PMMI, says they saw a need a for an event that brings together buyers with worldwide manufacturers in the food and beverage industry.

“ProFood Tech provides a venue to share the latest innovations and crossover technologies from multiple vertical markets within the food and beverage industry and will be that one-stop-shop featuring exhibits from both large companies that serve several customer segments and smaller niche companies with focus on more specific needs,” he says.

PMMI is the owner and producer of the PACK EXPO portfolio of trade shows, representing North American manufacturers of equipment, components and materials for processing and packaging.

Koelnmesse organizes trade shows, such as ISM, Anuga and Anuga Food Tech in Germany, for the food and beverage industries as well as for the food and beverage processing industries.

IDFA is North America's largest dairy association, representing 85 percent of North American manufacturing of dairy products.

Combining the expertise of these three trade show leaders, ProFood Tech will address all of the issues facing food and beverage processing operations in North America, including sustainability, improved operations, and food safety.
