After the COVID-19 pandemic prompted the cancelation of last year’s event, the 2021 Sweets & Snacks Expo is set for June 23-25 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis.

As of early June, 460 confectionery and snack exhibitors had registered for the event. More than 80 exhibitors had registered for the first Supplier Showcase, which is designed to help confectionery and snack suppliers connect with potential and existing customers.

Returning is Destination Retail, where visitors can learn how retailers are using technology and innovative merchandising to create a better in-store experience and how the power of occasions supports a year-round seasonal business.

The National Confectioners Association has also developed three tracks for its educational programming: Consumer & Shopper Trends, Retail & Category Trends and Business Disruptions. More than 20 educational sessions led by industry experts are planned.
