THE HOOK: Filling consumer requests for more chocolates with fruit and nut centers, Recchiuti Confections launched its Recchiuti Dragée line. The line features six varieties: Burnt Caramel Hazelnuts, Burnt Caramel Almonds, Peanut Butter Pearls (organic peanut butter covered in milk chocolate), Rum Raisins, Cherries Two Ways (dried Michigan tart cherries and candied wild Italian cherries covered in dark chocolate) and Asphalt Jungle Mix (a mix of all varieties except Rum Raisins).
INGREDIENTS: Burnt Caramel Hazelnuts: Hazelnuts, milk chocolate (sugar,cocoa butter, whole milk powder, cocoa beans, soya lecithin (emulsifier), natural vanilla extract), sugar, salt, cocoa powder. Contains tree nuts, milk, and soybean. Made on equipment shared with peanuts.
