Molly Shannon to partner with Skinny Cow Candy

Saturday Night Live actress Molly Shannon is partnering with Skinny Cow Candy for its latest ad campaign.


Skinny Cow Candy is partnering with Saturday Night Live actress Molly Shannon, with an ad campaign aimed at “redefining” candy.

The candies each have less than 120 calories, making them “guilt free” - a message Shannon plans to spread.

"From a former 'Saturday Night Live' night owl, to a mother of two early-risers, to a children's book author, I know a little something about redefinition," says Molly Shannon, actress, comedian, and author. "I'm thrilled to be helping Skinny Cow bring women proudly back to the candy aisle without having to sacrifice taste and portion size, for a delicious indulgence. To me, Skinny Cow Candy is a one-of-a-kind, guilt-free chocolate treat.”

Skinny Cow - famous with its majority female fan base for the company's low-calorie ice cream sandwiches, cones, cups and bars - launched its candy line earlier this year. The confections comes in four flavors, including milk chocolate and dark chocolate Dreamy Clusters as well as milk chocolate and dark chocolate Heavenly Crisp candy bars.

All four Skinny Cow candy flavors are available nationwide with a suggested retail price of $0.99 for single candy bars and $4.29 for a take home box of six.
