Widely recognized for its GEA Aquarius lollipop forming, cooling and wrapping machines, GEA Food Solutions isn’t as well-known for its capability to supply complete and upgradable lines. But it can and does.

The lines are categorized according to capacity and lollipop type, and range from simple configurations to fully customized systems, both of which can also include control, interfacing, transport and monitoring.

The basic building blocks are the GEA Aquarius FlexFormer, PopCooler, BunchWrapper and TwistWrapper, each available in a range of capacities. To facilitate our customers’ growth, upgrade kits are available to increase the capacity of the machines.

Configured to appeal to young companies, the Start Up line produces ball, fancy and 3D lollipops at up to 400 lollipops per minute. This line is upgradable to the Medium Capacity line configuration for up to 700 lollipops per minute.

The more versatile Standard Capacity line produces up to 1,000 lollipops per minute, and it can be specified with a PopFeeder transport belt, Container Filling system and PopFormance software for remote performance monitoring. Again, this configuration can be upgraded to a High Capacity line for up to 1,600 lollipops per minute. (All capacities cited are producing 25-mm diameter ball lollipops.)

The total package includes configuration advice, training at the GEA Campus, global customer support and the opportunity to test and evaluate solutions in the completely renewed GEA Technology Center in Weert, the Netherlands.
